Welcome

Thanks for viewing the Enatai Elementary Library blog!

Recently, the school's Library Advisory Team surveyed students, parents, and teachers to gain insight from the community on how to better the library. Many great ideas were shared! This blog will serve as a one-stop shop for library news and communication.

Among other things mentioned in the library survey that the Enatai community would like to have available:
  • more current books, more variety and number of books
  • books that connect to the curriculum, especially science and social studies
  • more audiobooks
  • e-books
  • having two or more copies of the most popular books
  • book recommendation lists by grade level and by reading level
  • author visits
  • enough laptops/net books for an entire class to use in the library
  • information on how to access the library databases from home
  • a book donation area
  • access to the library during recess or afterschool
  • afterschool book club or tutoring programs
  • time for fifth graders to use the library
  • more comfy seating
  • student artwork displayed in the library

Stay tuned for information regarding these improvements...
